I was honored to emcee the Colorado Authors League Awards for Excellence in Writing on July 21, 2024 at the beautiful Washington Park Boathouse. Thank you, CAL, for asking me!

In April 2024, I had the honor of speaking at the 150th Anniversary of the First United Methodist Church in Castle Rock about the history of Castle Rock and my family’s involvement with the church (including my own wedding there in 1980!).

I taught two classes in April 2024 at the Writers’ Workshop in Parker to an enthusiastic group of writers! The classes were “Character IS Story” and “Tough Talk: Writing Effective Dialogue.”
